Lots of flexibility and lots of comfort are characteristics of mobile holidaying. The Hymer Exsis-i combines both in a particularly elegant way. The slimline vehicles weigh in at considerably under three tons in traffic-ready state. This makes the Exsis-i the first A Class motorhome in this weight sector.

Despite its generous, convenient layouts and the comfortable standing height of 1.98 metres inside the vehicle, the Hymer Exsis-i is just 2.77 metres high and 2.22 metres wide. These compact dimensions and its optimally positioned wheelbase lend it a particularly high level of manoeuvrability. However, the thing that affords it a car-like status is not just its excellent road behaviour but also its weight classification.

All eight floor layouts have an unladen weight of less than three tons – including the comprehensive standard equipment. From 2,610 kilograms with the Exsis-i 504, the range in road-ready state extends to 2,950 kilograms with the Exsis-i 698. Even when fully laden with passengers (4 people) and with individual additional equipment, there is still ample scope to load up the vehicle and utilise the garage capacity of 250 kilograms without exceeding the 3.5 ton permissible weight. Any weight restrictions in road traffic that apply above this limit are thereby avoided and the vehicle maintains its full flexibility.

There is also unrestricted mobility in the Hymer Exsis-i in terms of weather. Its winterised body with fully foamed PUAL walls, foamed-filled GFK floor and its insulated and heated installation area for lines, fresh water and grey water tanks makes it the leading allseason vehicle in its class. Thanks to optimised heat distribution, you can enjoy a well-balanced, cosy atmosphere throughout in the motorhome and, at the same time, also avoid any unnecessary energy loss. Equally as efficient and economical is the pleasant interior lighting, which features modern LED technology throughout.

The high quality ambience in the living area of the Exsis-i is defined by the generous lounge seating group that offers space for up to 6 people depending on the layout. With the exception of the opposing seating group in the Exsis-i 644, the swivelling pilot seats and the comfortable L-shaped bench seat form a group around the large, sliding table. As an additional proper seating space, there is a padded folding seat next to the entry door in five models, which, when folded up, allows easy access to the cab.

In the rear, you have a choice between longitudinal single beds, a lateral double bed, rear single bed or optionally rear bunk bed crosswise for the Exsis-i 524 and the classy queen-size bed of the Exsis-i 698. All of the floor layouts also feature a drop-down bed above the cab with 1.50 metres in width.

Further models are the Exsis-i 614 with an extra wide rear bed crosswise, an Exsis-i 678 with single beds and the Exsis-i 524 with rear single bed or optionally rear bunk bed crosswise - all models with a big comfort washroom. The layouts Exsis-i 504 to 674 (not 524) are equipped with a variable premium washroom that can be converted from a washing area/WC into a water-tight shower cubicle by reversing the wall. To ensure that water drains off properly if the vehicle is on a slight angle, the shower tray in all wash rooms is equipped with two drainage points.

Keeping warm systematically

A relaxed holiday also means keeping the onboard temperature at a pleasant level. Regardless of the weather, climate or season, the Exsis-i has an elegant solution for this. The full foam HYMER PUAL wall construction, the GRP floor which is also foam-padded and the high-quality frame windows provide the vehicles with complete thermal insulation both in summer and in winter. This exemplary body technology makes the Exsis-i the leading all-year-round vehicle in its class.

The central warm air heating system not only provides the interior with cosy heat. It also protects the utilities from frost in the heated living area. The fresh and waste water tanks are housed in a large, insulated GRP tray under the living area and warm air flows around them, the luggage in the garage and all the other outside stowage compartments. Based on numerous tests under real temperature conditions, the heat distribution within the vehicle is optimised to the smallest detail. As a result, you enjoy a constant interior climate in your Exsis-i and avoid any unnecessary energy losses at the same time.

Enjoy plenty of room

The Exsis-i is also truly convincing in the kitchen with its distinct upgrade in comfort thanks to optimal space utilisation. Besides the 3-hob cooker and the large sink next to it, the kitchen unit offers (optional) space for a room-high fridge (150 litres) with separate freezer compartment or for a TEC Tower with fridge-freezer combination and oven. The glass cover above the cooker and sink is split in the middle and acts as an additional flexible worktop. As required, the kitchen worktop can also be extended with a simple movement. Experience it yourself. Serving and preparing dishes turns into shear enjoyment!

Everything you need can be stowed in the spacious kitchen cupboards. Food for the trip - all that goes into the deep overhead storage cupboards above the sink. Crockery, kitchen equipment and other food fit into the many large drawers in the base units. The drawers can be partitioned so that you have optimum storage for everything. The very bright LED spots over the worktop and the large kitchen window, which is protected by a blind and can also be darkened, provide perfect light when working in the kitchen.

Ideas of freshening up

Big in comfort, compact in body - this guiding principle is best expressed in the creative bathroom design on the Exsis-i. Depending on the layout it is implemented in one of two carefully conceived variations.

On the Exsis-i 578 and 674, the swivel wall in the Vario Premium bathroom transforms the bathroom into a spacious waterproof shower cubicle. This elegant solution therefore uses the available space in two ways. The separate shower cubicle in the large comfort bathroom on the Exsis-i 524, 678 und 698 offers even more freedom of movement. The extra-deep washbasin and the bathroom cabinet in matching furniture finish create an exceptionally homely and relaxed bathroom ambience.

In all bathrooms the shower tray is equipped with two drains. The large frosted glass roof vent fan with integrated darkening blind and insect screen ensures rapid humidity extraction and provides a pleasant standing height. The high-quality bench toilet on the Exsis-i is comfortable and particularly easy to clean. The folding shelf in the Vario Premium bathroom also forms a perfect supplement to the many shelves and compartments around the washbasin. Everything has its place here.

Sleep in comfort

The focus here is on supporting the spine. All four berths on the new Exsis-i are equipped with anatomically strengthened 7-zone cold foam mattresses with special breathable mattress covers.

Maximum freedom of movement is promised by the Exsis-i 698, but not only in the 1.40 metre wide queen-size bed at the rear. The 80 centimetre wide single beds in the Exsis-i 578 and 674 can be made even wider at the top by additional cushions supplied as standard. The Exsis-i 524 is available with a rear single bed - a comfortable berth for a single person - or optionally with a rear bunk bed crosswise. Two more people can sleep comfortably in the lift bed above the driveris cab. The 1.50 metre wide sleeping area can be lowered, whether manually or electrically, onto firm supports on either side. Perfect for easy access and giving plenty of headroom!

Around the berths there is plenty of storage for comfort. Thanks to numerous stowage facilities and the lighting at both ends, your glasses, books and drinks are always at hand with all beds. Fresh air for a restful sleep comes from the pop-out windows on both sides and the roof vents at the rear. Darkening and insect screen blinds are integrated and flush to the roof vents to give plenty of headroom in the sleeping area.

Living in style

Slim on the outside, generous and comfortable on the inside ñ the new HYMER Exsis-i turns the apparently impossible into reality. The spacious lounge seating group offers comfort for up to five people. The padded seat on the entrance side folds away to provide plenty of space to move around. The large movable table is surrounded by the swivel pilot seats in the driver's cab and the two-seater bench seat with two integrated 3-point safety belts.

The exclusive living ambience in the Exsis-i is due to much more than just a question of size. The high-quality upholstery and the attractive select fabric designs are as much part of the exclusive Marasca Select furniture style as the matching stylish curtains and the quality details, such as the overhead storage cupboards in high-class wood look. Even the insect screen at the entrance and the high-quality darkening curtain in the driver's cab are included in the standard equipment.

The list of optional extras comprises power roller blinds on the front window. The large double glazed panorama roof vent fans with LED lights and insulated frame window flood the living area with light. Together with the central warm air heating system, they create a cosy draught-free room atmosphere, even in winter.

Ample scope for additional load: All models of the Hymer Exsis-i stay way under the 3.5 ton threshold – even with front passenger and special equipment.
